An amazing night was had by all at Forever Manchester’s 30th Birthday Party, with £78,689 being raised for Forever Manchester to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.

Over 400 passionate and dedicated supporters came together at the Principal Manchester on Friday 7th February 2020. to celebrate 30 years of Forever Manchester helping local people doing extraordinary things in their local communities. We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that contributed to a truly entertaining and inspirational night.

The event was kindly sponsored by Express Solicitors.

Hosted by Tony Walsh and Captain Manchester, the Birthday Party, featured first class entertainment from four community groups who are part of the Forever Manchester movement:

  • The Manchester School of Samba
  • Carly Ryan
  • Mature Movers
  • The Brew Chimp Boys

Clint Boon then finished the night with a DJ set which got everyone up and dancing until the early hours.

The Birthday Party also acknowledged the impressive achievements from local community groups as well as the efforts and contributions by local businesses who support Forever Manchester. So huge congratulations to our deserved award winners:

Our Forever Manchester Birthday Party wouldn’t have been such a success without the support from sponsors, so a massive thank you to Express Solicitors, DCB Group, Auto Trader, Seventy7, OFR Consultants, Kyocera, MID Communications, Beever & Struthers and CDL

Thanks as well to all the volunteers who gave up their time to help out at The Birthday Party and to everyone that took part in the Captain Manchester’s Magical Tombola and who bid on the auction!

Congratulations to Grace Nolan who won the Twitter Wall Competition, sponsored by Beever and Struthers. Click here for some highights from Twitter.
