The Forever Manchester Team have been working remotely from home over the last few weeks, and although we may be apart, we’re very much working together, continuing to support those communities across Greater Manchester that need us more than ever through this challenging time.
At Forever Manchester, we believe that connected communities make stronger, happier communities, so keeping our communities strong, and doing all we can to support each other is going to be essential in the coming weeks and months.
On 23rd March we launched the Community Support Fund for those grassroot community groups responding to the impact of Covid-19.
Since the launch, our Awards Team located in Wigan, Manchester, Salford and Trafford respectively have been working tirelessly to answer questions and process applications so that groups can receive funding within two weeks.
Our Communities Team, who are normally out and about in neighbourhoods, are instead virtually helping to connect people in communities via various means of communications from their homes in Manchester, Salford and Trafford.

Our Business Development and Marketing Teams now located in homes in Irlam, Davyhulme, Denton, Middleton, Chorlton, Reddish and Rochdale, are keeping in regular contact with business supporters, whilst trying to come up with some creative fundraising solutions.
On 27th March, due to being inundated with applications for our Community Support Fund, we launched our ‘This Is The Place fundraising appeal to help raise money so we can fund all the applications we’ve already had as well as all the ones well receive in the future.
