On Friday 10th February 2023 at Forever Manchester’s Birthday Party, we were pleased to announce Out in the City as winner of our Community Group of the Year Award.
The award has been kindly sponsored by CDL.
The Community Group of the Year Award is given in recognition of a community group or project that has made a meaningful and significant impact, strengthening communities, making a difference and putting smiles on people’s faces.
Out in The City is a social support group based in Manchester for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities who are over 50 years of age. The group organise weekly activities and social trips alongside hosting regular meetings for people to socialize and share their experiences in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
The award was presented on the night by Frank Robinson, Chief People Officer at CDL
