On Friday 10th February 2023 at Forever Manchester’s Birthday Party, we were pleased to announce J. W. Lees as the winner of our Employee Engagement Award.
The Employee Engagement Award is given in recognition of an employer that has encouraged and engaged with its staff positively to contribute to Forever Manchester and local communities; enhancing employee opportunities by raising funds, donating time and resources, and helping to raise awareness of Forever Manchester.
Since naming Forever Manchester as their chosen charity in November 2021, J.W. Lees have raised a significant amount of money for Forever Manchester.
Managing Director William Lees Jones continues to do a sterling job as Forever Manchester’s President and the company has provided financial support through sponsorship.
The J.W. Lees team at their brewery in Middleton and at their 100 pubs across Greater Manchester have also got involved with a variety of fundraising activities. From Golf Days to Bake Sales, 10K runs to Fashion Shows, Summer Parties and Christmas Fayres they have help raise in excess of £25,000 over the last 12 months.
