On Friday 9th February 2024 at Forever Manchester’s Birthday Party, we were pleased to announce Salford Food Parcels as the winner of our Outstanding Community Contribution Award.
The award has been kindly sponsored by OFR Consultants.
The Outstanding Community Contribution Award is given in recognition of a person or a group of local people who have supported their community over a long period of time, delivering sustained and meaningful impact for many, doing something extraordinary.
Salford Food Parcels are a food bank in Salford, fighting local food poverty. Set up in September 2011, they provide free food to anyone who is in need , whether this is on a short or long term basis. They provide basic food items and fresh food obtained from donations, food providers or from their allotment.
The award was presented on the night by Daniel Codd from OFR Consultants.
