On Friday 9th February 2024 at Forever Manchester’s Birthday Party, we were pleased to announce Community Media Crew Group as the winner of our For Everyone Award.
The award has been kindly sponsored by AO Arena.
The For Everyone Award is given in recognition of group of people who have supported those who may find themselves excluded from the wider community
Community Media Crew Group is a day-care group that provides the opportunity for people with learning disabilities to gain new skills and make new friends.
They meet 3 days a week for 50 weeks of the year to share media skills such as Radio and TV production with group users. As well as ‘hands-on’ skills, the group also allows people to come together socially and have fun with friends. Community Media Crew Group provides members with a true sense of teamwork and achievement, with sessions run by experienced drama and media professionals and volunteers.
The award was presented on the night by AO Arena.
