The Breakfast Club in Oldham really helped end Caketober with a bang on Friday 28th October.
The group, which is led by the community for the community, run a number of craft and play sessions and days out. It was set up for parents to have fun with their children during school holidays with the help of our Community Builder Lisa and funding from Kellogg’s. Read more about the group here.
The kids that benefit from the group helped raise an amazing £33 to help support groups just like theirs.
They were joined by our very own Captain Manchester, who was alerted by the act of kindness:
