Forever Manchester corporate supporter, Auto Trader UK, provided a fantastic Christmas party for over 100 people on Saturday 10th December at their offices at Tony Wilson Place.
Auto Trader, who have their own named fund with Forever Manchester, have provided a Christmas party for older people and carers for the last three years. A three-course meal with entertainment and gifts are provided at their staff restaurant with over 30 Auto Trader staff volunteering on the day, helping to serve food and drink, and generally look after their guests and making sure they have a good time.
Entertainment was provided by Paula, who sang traditional Christmas songs as well as others and was ably assisted by some of the guests who provided backing vocals as well as joining in the dancing.
Three groups attended the event from St. Joseph’s Area Senior Citizens Club in Leigh, Time out for Carers in Salford and Oldham Drive Tenants Association in Stockport.
In particular, Terry, from Oldham Drive Tenants Association, proved a great hit with the ladies and all the staff at Auto Trader. Here he is (pictured) with Hannah Ratcliffe who arranged the party.
