Forever Manchester is delighted to welcome KNDS as our newest Business Partner.
With over a century of engineering expertise and innovation, WFEL Limited (a company of KNDS) is a renowned world leader in rapidly deployable bridging systems for use in the military and for various disaster relief scenarios and a key partner in the UK MoD’s BOXER programme, providing the highest quality engineering from their UK site in Heaton Chapel near Manchester.
Since 1915, their highly skilled and experienced workforce is dedicated to providing excellence across all areas of the business from concept and design to project management, engineering and manufacturing – made in Manchester, trusted around the world.
The KNDS team got off to a flying start in their fundraising for Forever Manchester by participating in their Active August challenge. Members of staff got super active and swam, cycled, walked and ran as much as possible throughout the month, raising a pound per mile and achieving a fantastic total of £2,500.
