The Refuge and Forever Manchester are proud to present a special preview event in The Den, taking place on Thursday 22nd November from 6pm onwards.

Salford-born Trevor Johnson has been responsible for creating some of Manchester’s most iconic graphic design for over four decades. He forged his reputation back in the early 80s with sleeve and promotion designs for the early Smiths, ACR and the legendary Haçienda nightclub for its owners Factory Records as well as a host of independent businesses at the start of the city’s urban renaissance.

The event will feature eight designs printed posters, limited signed prints, greeting cards and exclusive pieces available only on the night all for sale to raise funds for Forever Manchester to help us fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.

Amongst his portfolio, Trevor created the iconic imagery for nights such as Hot, Nude, Flesh, Void and many more that were central to The Haçienda’s visual profile.

We are excited to announce that Justin Robertson (Shiva) and Paulette (Flesh) will both will be DJing on the night in the public bar, with support from Hacienda regular John McCready.
