A Pop Up Art Event, held on Thursday 22nd November that showcased eight iconic Hacienda club night poster designs has raised a fantastic £3,100 for Forever Manchester.

The artwork, promoting Hacienda club nights between 1987 and 1991, was orginally designed by Trevor Johnson, who kindly reproduced these onto printed posters, limited signed prints and greeting cards, to help raise money for Forever Manchester to support community activity across Greater Manchester.

Trevor Johnson, who is a Forever Manchester Ambassador, would like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved including:

The Refuge team, Craig Johnson, Havas Lynx, Entwistles and Premier Paper, Hedleys Foil. Astra Signs, John Walsh & all the students from MMU , our DJs on the night, We are Indigo, all Forever Manchester staff and everyone involved in assisting with this Pop Up Shop.

Trevor said “If you printed them, helped pack them, promoted them, or shouted words of encouragement from the sidelines, I would like to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

If you didn’t get a chance to head down to The Refuge, a number of items from Trevor’s collection are now available from the Forever Manchester Shop.
