The jewel in Manchester’s fundraising party calendar, The Mirror Ball, celebrated ten years of fundraising and glamour this month on Friday 6th March 2020.

The gala knees, up which is organised by long time Forever Manchester ambassador and celeb hairdresser extraordinaire Andrew Trott Barn at Manchester’s favourite hotel, The Lowry Hotel, brings together some of Manchester’s most famous faces and successful business figures to celebrate and raise cash for Forever Manchester.

Over the last 10 years the Mirror Ball has raised over £500,000 for Forever Manchester to fund and support community across Greater Manchester.

Performances over the past nine years have come from Gareth Gates and Faye Brookes, Shayne Ward, Catherine Tyldesley and Will Mellor along with 90’s TV stars Trev and Simon and pop group 911.

This year we were treated to performances from some of our favourites from over the years – Gareth Gates, Will Mellor, the amazing magician Dominic Anthony and The Chanteuse Lucy Hope.

As you can see the guests didn’t disappoint with everyone dressed to impress and celebrating the glitz, glam and sparkle that makes it Glam Up North.

Andrew Trott Barn said, “The Mirror Ball is a really great party. We are so grateful to each and every person and company who has supported us over the years. We could not have done it without you. From Boodles who have given us some amazing prizes and auction lots to all of our sponsors who donated money and booze to make the nights so special!”

The team behind The Mirror Ball, who all volunteer their time, includes Natalie Grey from interior design and branding studio NoChintz, Siobhan Hanley from event and PR agency Siobhan Hanley Communications, Daisy Whitehouse from PR and marketing consultancy Down at the Social. Support also comes from Manchester’s number one event design specialist Verdure Floral Design and Giraffe Event Solutions.

This year’s event was sponsored by Advanced Pro Salon, 186 Manchester, Meadows Gin and Whitworth Locke.
