Forever Manchester AO Arena Billboard

Manchester’s AO Arena have generously donated advertising space within the concourse to help raise awareness of Forever Manchester.

The venue is one of the largest arenas in Europe and since opening in 1995 it has played a key part in the city’s rich musical heritage. That’s why when the opportunity came along, we couldn’t turn down the chance to spread the word of Forever Manchester to the arena’s 1 million annual visitors.

With 2 brand-new billboards, 10 Posters and a lightbox display, the Forever Manchester message has been spread throughout the venue, in some of the arena’s highest areas of footfall.

Not only do the eye-catching displays look great, but the 10 posters dotted around the concourse are also interactive, featuring QR codes that visitors can scan with their own mobile phones.  Leading straight to our JustGiving page, the posters allow the person to make a one-off or monthly donation to Forever Manchester, right on the spot.

The iconic AO Arena, who won the inaugural “Give it Up” award at our 30th Birthday Bash, have been business supporters for over 5 years and it’s not hard to see why – having donated tickets for prizes in our monthly Captain Manchester’s Magical Tombola, as well as tickets to help us run raffles and other fundraising initiatives. These new billboards and posters are a clear extension of their ongoing support for Forever Manchester.

James Allen, General Manager of the AO Arena, said:

“We have been active supporters of Forever Manchester for a number of years, actively taking part in and offering support to their fundraising and awareness raising campaigns. The recent donation of several large format poster spaces in high footfall areas around the venue helps to raise awareness and highlight their charitable efforts to our 1.2 million visitors a year. Whilst the world was on pause, Forever Manchester worked tirelessly to help to improve the lives of people within the Greater Manchester area, now that we are able to press play and welcome guests back to the arena, we want to celebrate our partnership with the charity and showcase their stellar work.”

At the end of last month, the arena’s first event in over 18 months took place. With their doors now open again, we’re so excited to have our posters showcased to the crowds of Manchester. A huge thanks to AO Arena for their continued support.
