We want to say a massive thank you to Express Solicitors for organising their recent Virtual Lockdown Run to raise funds for Forever Manchester. With over 130 runners the price of entry raised £1,600. On top of that, Founding Partner of Express, James Maxey, donated another £500 which took the grand total up to £2,100 with bits of sponsorship for runners still coming in!

Organiser Jennifer Lutton said: “I am so happy with how well the run went, it was amazing how many friends from within the local running community entered and how it extended out to people that I didn’t know through the link being shared on social media.

“It was also really fun seeing all the runs being completed knowing and was thrilled with how much was raised when everyone pulled together.”

Each runner completed a solo run and sent their proof into the team and then received a nice little medal! The feedback on the event was great with runners saying:

“Thank you for organising the race. I enjoyed it, and actually achieved a PB for the distance! Running on the flat makes all the difference.”

“It was great to run in an event at this time, all be it on my own. I have missed the excitement, like everyone else that compete in any event. I’m looking forward to receiving my first medal of the year.”
