Throughout August 2022, our Community Building Team will be hosting their community roadshows every Wednesday and Thursday across the communities of Ardwick, Manchester City Centre and Wythenshawe.

The bees are buzzing, the flowers are blooming and after a mini heatwave (in between the legendary Manchester rain) summer is definitely here. We’re thrilled to announce that our Community team are ready and raring to burst into a community near you, to connect, to help create some smiling faces and above all to spread some Forever Manchester cheer!

Forever Manchester’s Community Building Team work out and about in communities, starting conversations with the people they meet, finding out what they’re passionate about, and connecting them to like minded neighbours. Quite simply, their job is to make as many new friends as possible in the communities they work in and encourage new friendships to form, by introducing people to others and supporting residents to start their own new community activity.

Summer Roadshows in Ardwick, Manchester City Centre & Wythenshawe

We’re inviting local residents and families to engage with us to help generate their own activities based on their hobbies interests and what makes them happy. Our Roadshows provide the opportunity to meet new people, forge new friendships and above all have some fun!

There will be plenty of activities to get involved in and by completing a very very small survey, you can have a go of our roadshow tombola to win with some fab prizes.

In Ardwick (Wednesday 3rd Aug and 17th Aug 11am-3pm)

  • 3rd August – West Gorton Community Park
  • 17th August – Coverdale Estate / Grove Village Estate Ardwick

In Manchester City Centre (Wednesday 10th Aug and 24th Aug 11am-3pm)

  • 10th August – Great Northern Square (Deansgate/Peter Street)
  • 24th August – Great Northern Square (Deansgate/Peter Street)
