For the next in our Shine A Light series where we tell you a little more about one of our wonderful supporters, we’re introducing Stagecoach Manchester.
Forever Manchester is delighted to be the chosen charity for Stagecoach across Greater Manchester over a two year period.
Stagecoach Manchester is the leading bus operator in the region, connecting communities, supporting economic growth and working to protect the environment; proud to serve communities throughout Greater Manchester including Salford, Trafford, Stockport, Tameside and Wigan.
Their impact is about far more than transport – supporting the economy, helping to cut congestion on roads, protecting the environment and air quality, boosting safety on roads, and contributing to a healthier nation.
They provide safe, reliable, high-quality, good value and accessible travel. Their team of 2,323 people help to connect over 106 million passengers every year in Greater Manchester across a fleet of 750 buses.
They have invested over £25.8m since January 2015 in new buses and services for the people of Greater Manchester.
The team has already taken part in some great fundraising activities within the 6 depots across Greater Manchester including their fantastic Santa Bus visiting communities in the region.
