For the next in our Shine A Light series where we tell you a little more about one of our wonderful supporters, we’re introducing GM Business Connect Magazine.
GM Business Connect Magazine is a business to business bi-monthly magazine that is available both in a printed and electronic format. It covers many of the major business hubs across Greater Manchester, with an emphasis on B2B networking and bringing Manchester’s business community together. What’s more – it’s completely free.
GM Business Connect have supported Forever Manchester for over 5 years and in that time have used their extensive network and experience to host loads of networking events that raise money to support community groups across Greater Manchester.
In recent times they took over the organisational and hosting duties of “First Friday Connectworking” which brings together businesspeople from across the region in some of Manchester’s most iconic hospitality venues to network and share a drink, also every ticket sold gets entered into Captain Manchester’s Magical Tombola. The team have even taken to Zoom to keep these events live during lockdown and you can join the next one here.
Co-Founder and Forever Manchester Ambassador, Paul Mirage, said “I got involved with Forever Manchester Charity through my business GM Business Connect Magazine, as soon as we featured what the charity did for Greater Manchester and its roots, I was hooked.
It ticked all the right boxes for me to not only support and create awareness of the charity which supports great community causes. But personally, for me, to influence others in business to make a difference in Greater Manchester where we live, and love and we have a cracking time doing it.
