Forever Manchester supporters Realm Recruit recently went the extra mile in the Peaks in support of Forever Manchester.
The recruitment company has historically undertaken an annual sponsored walk to work, with individual commutes varying in distance from as little as 2 miles through to 17 miles!
This year, as part of supporting Forever Manchester’s Cheer Fest activities, they thought it would be nice to undertake something together as a group and perhaps even up the challenge stakes a little.
On October 11th 2019, the group set off on a 7 mile trek in the Peak District to help Forever Manchester fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.
Thankfully, the damp conditions didn’t dampen their overall effort with the group raising a very credible £300!
Forever Manchester would like to thank the team at Realm Recruitment for their Cheer Fest efforts and everyone who sponsored their trekking activity!
All ready for our hike in the rain today for @4EVERManchester 💪 pic.twitter.com/4cdmwZmqFn

Didn’t quite manage to do either of the routes we’d planned to walk on Friday (got cut off partway up Kinder Scout where the river and path had merged into one). Still managed decent 7 miles in the torrential rain. Well done team @realmrecruit @4EVERManchester #OctoberCheerFest pic.twitter.com/oEhAWGEt4s
