This year’s Mirror Ball at The Lowry Hotel was another roaring success, with £45,000 raised for Forever Manchester to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.

Organised by Forever Manchester ambassador, Andrew Trott-Barn, The Mirror Ball, together with the Halloween Spooktacular, has raised nearly 500K since it started nine years ago and we want to say a HUGE thank you to all the guests, sponsors and – of course – Andrew Trott-Barn, Daisy Pickles, Natalie Gray, Siobhan Hanley and the Mirror Ball team for doing such an amazing job.

The theme for this year’s extravaganza was 1920s Bugsy Malone, with entertainment from former X Factor singer Russell Jones, The Big Easy Band and dance troupe Gravity Live, who were joined by Andrew himself for a cheeky little Charleston routine!

Throughout the evening, guests were invited to go and ‘confess their sins’ to award-winning cartoonist Tony Husband which he illustrated in a personalised, unique cartoon, for which they all made a donation to Forever Manchester.

The auction that followed was a huge success too, thanks to the generous donations from our sponsors.

Next year, The Mirror Ball will be celebrating its 10th birthday so we’re already looking forward to what lies in store!
