Our friends and long-time supporters at Manchester Building Society fundraised for us through a World Cup sweepstake to help us fund and support community projects across Greater Manchester.
Andy Jones from Manchester Building Society, who came up with the idea said: “As Manchester’s local Building Society we recognise our responsibility to contribute to the wellbeing of our local communities. Supporting Forever Manchester allows us to direct our fundraising and charitable donations to people and communities right on our door doorstep.”
Ged Murray from Forever Manchester added: “Manchester Building Society have supported us for a number of years now and we are grateful for their support. It’s really helpful when our supporters carry out their own fundraising initiatives like this.”
“We do run a programme of fundraising events that our supporters can take part in and they take a lot of time and resource to organise, so when our supporters run their own events, it is a welcome boost to our fundraising efforts.”
