We are saddened to hear the news that Tony Husband passed last week. Tony was a fantastic artist, known for his abilitiy to capture the humour and warmth of everyday life with his distinctive style.
Having had a regular cartoon strip in Private Eye since the late 1980s, Tony was one of Britain’s most-loved cartoonists and we are grateful for the time he spent working with Forever Manchester, to help raise money to support community activity across Greater Manchester.
This included kindly donating artwork, creating cartoons exclusively for Forever Manchester, and even leading art workshops with our community builders.
Forever Manchester send our love to his family and friends during this difficult time.
