We’d like to say a huge thank you to J.W.Lees who have taken part in some fantastic fundraising this year and have raised £25,000 so far as part of their ongoing partnership with Forever Manchester.
The J.W. Lees team at their brewery in Middleton and at their 100 pubs across Greater Manchester are getting involved with their own fundraising activities and those of Forever Manchester’s over the next year, and there has already been some great events that have taken place:
Golf Day
A fantastic £10,250 was raised at the annual J.W. Lees Golf Day held this year at Vale Royal Abbey Golf Club. Teams comprising of staff, suppliers and clients competed for a number of trophies on the day followed by a celebration dinner in the evening with a raffle and auction.
Glorious weather meant it was a great day and we’d like to thanks everyone involved for their support and donations.
Bake Sale
Well done to the Marketing Team and everyone in the brewery who raised £220 for Forever Manchester with the sale of coffee, cakes and savoury bakes.
We heard that everything went down a treat, including some star baking from Helen with her epic Cinnamon Swirls and award winning Lemon Drizzle cake.
Forever Fashion
Whilst the Marketing Team were hosting their delicious bake sale, a clothes swap was taking place at Head Office. Organised by Helen and Sonia, Forever Fashion was a brilliant opportunity for people to bring in their pre-loved clothes and snap up a new item for their wardrobe from someone else’s donations.
The event was a real success with a particularly great selection of shoes and handbags.
