In the bowels of Barton Arcade on All Hallows’ Eve 2017, eight brave Manchester personalities faced the ghosts and ghouls in the Halloween Lockdown – where their only way out was to raise as much money as they could for Forever Manchester.

This year’s winner was Crowd UK’s Angela Fielding, who raised an amazing £700. However she loved the Lockdown so much that she gave her freedom up to runner-up Dave Foran and stayed in Barton’s basement for the entire time! Following Dave and Angela was Scott Hadden, then Gemma HepworthMiss Manchester, Mr Deansgate and Mark Cunny, with Ross Worswick and Angela facing the last spooky half hour alone with our paranormal expert Stuart Marshall!

A huge thank you to Crowd UK who allowed for us to use the basement of Barton Arcade for this year’s Lockdown, and to What Marketing for their amazing videos in the lead-up to, and of, the night.

We’d also like thank Halloween HQ who supported the event by donating some spooky decorations to help scare our contestants. They are part of the Calendar Club, who are currently located in the Arndale.

Head over to our Facebook page to have a look at the photos taken by photographer Carl Sukonik (The Vain Photography), who once again captured the night brilliantly.

Huge thank you to all our contestants and everyone that sponsored them!
