On Friday 1st October, 13 local business battled it out to be crowned Champions of annual Forever Football 7s Tournament, which helped raised a magnificent £3,500 for Forever Manchester.
Forever Manchester’s fifth annual 7-a-side charity football tournament, held at FC United’s Broadhurst Park, saw Forward Role, the North’s leading specialist marketing, digital and technology recruitment agency, coming out on top beating event sponsor Auto Trader in the final.
As well as raising money for Forever Manchester to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester, the tournament provided businesses with the opportunity for staff to come together as a team as well as meeting, and networking, with other local businesses.
We would like to thank the three referees who oversaw the four group matches, semi-final and final, and also FC United’s first team manager Neil Reynolds who presented Forward Role with the winners trophy (see below).
But most importantly we’d like to say a huge thank you to all the companies who took part.
