Lineup

Mick Ferry

Mick Ferry has quickly established himself as one of the most sought after comics on the Comedy circuit. One of the finest comperes around, he performs regularly at The Comedy Store in London and Manchester as well as headlining at comedy venues nationwide.

Mick made his debut at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 2009 before returning in 2010 to great critical acclaim.

On our TV screens, Mick has recently starred in BBC One`s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as Comedy Blue and The Comedy Store for Comedy Central. A prolific writer, Mick was a writer on John Bishop’s Britain for BBC One and has also previously written for BBC3`s Smalltime.

Faizan Shah

Faizan is a Manchester-based comic who moved to the UK as a child. His well-crafted jokes make light of growing up in an immigrant household and the inevitable mental health challenges it brings.

The quality of Faizan’s joke writing, and affable stage presence has seen him progress quickly from beating Comedy Store’s King Gong and Frog and Bucket’s Beat the Frog to now breaking through the circuit with a strong 15-minute set. Critics believe Faizan to be one of the most exciting new acts to come out of Manchester for a few years.

Nina Gilligan

Nina Gilligan is sometimes outrageous but always hilarious. A skilled writer, creator and improviser, Nina’s shows have been nominated for Best Comedy at Greater Manchester Fringe and received 5-star reviews at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival.

Recently acknowledged as 2023’s Best Act at both the Chortle and North West Comedy Awards, Nina is on a real upwards streak after being crowned as the winner of the prestigious Leicester Mercury Award in 2021.

Described as ‘A Gem of the Circuit’ and with an ability to ‘Transcend age barriers effortlessly’ she continues to rise through the comedy ranks.

Stephen Bailey

Comedian, presenter, actor and writer, Stephen Bailey is a proud northern, working class, gay man. The multi-award nominated star’s indecorous brand of gossipy humour has singled him out as one of the UK’s most sought-after talents for comedy and entertainment formats.

With regular slots on the radio (BBC Radio 4, Virgin Radio) and TV (ITV, Comedy Central, Channel 5) Stephen’s quick-wit, playful sarcasm and enigmatic charm captivates instantly. After performing on Live at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), he was commissioned to record his own 30 minute comedy special which aired on the channel in 2019.

As well as being a prominent talent on the UK comedy circuit, he has also supported the biggest names in stand-up, including Katherine Ryan, Jenny Eclair, Jason Manford, John Bishop and Sarah Millican.

With a line-up as great as this, we’re sure Forever Funny 2023 will be a sell-out show. Buy your tickets now before it’s too late, and get involved in a night of fun and laughter, all whilst supporting Forever Manchester.
