Friday 31st March saw our annual Forever Manchester Football 7s Tournament raise an impressive £2,250.

Fifteen businesses from across Greater Manchester took part to fight for the Forever Manchester shield on FC United of Manchester’s 3G Community Pitch.

Whittled down after a series of fantastic ten-minute matches, the semi-finals saw Pixel Kicks (Group A winners) face Hannan Associates (Group C winners) and Oscar Recruitment (Group B winners) face My Accountancy Place and Six and Flow’s team (best runners up).

Oscar Recruitment came out the victors though, after a tense final with Pixel Kicks. Here’s the moment they lifted the coveted shield!

The tournament ended with a post-match social across the road at The Miners Community Arts and Music Centre – a perfect place for a drink after an evening raising money for grassroots community activity across Greater Manchester.

Huge thank you goes to all 15 companies who took part, including: Pixel Kicks, Refinery, My Accountancy Place and Six and Flow, Tunafish Media, Brother UK, Allied Irish Bank, Connections Recruitment, Oscar Recruitment, Convergys’ Team A and B, AT Engine Controls, Hannan Associates, Ward Hadaway, Venditan and Bennett Verby. All teams were great sports and helped to create a great atmosphere.

Thanks also goes to hosts FC United, whose hospitality was, as always, second to none, and to our pro referees Martin, Taiwo and Zeyad, who kept the rule breakers at bay.
