A fantastic night was had by all at Forever Manchester’s Birthday Party, with £90,675 being raised for Forever Manchester to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.

400 passionate and dedicated supporters came together at the Kimpton Clocktower on Friday 10th February 2023 to celebrate another year of Forever Manchester helping local people doing extraordinary things in their local communities. After a turbulent 2022, it was a particularly celebratory night, reminding us all of the importance of community and human connection.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that contributed to a truly entertaining and inspirational night. There was certainly something special in the air, with a record-breaking amount being raised.

The event was kindly sponsored by Oscar.

Entertainment

Hosted by Tony Walsh and Captain Manchester, the Birthday Party featured first class entertainment, starting with pianist Georgia Clark in the Drinks Reception and then performances from three local community groups:

  • The Circus House
  • Bolton Mandhata Youth
  • Manchester Proud Chorus

Fat Cat Brass Band then rounded the evening off with a surprise performance, after their popular debut at last year’s Birthday Party, before Martin Holland took to the decks with a DJ set that kept everyone up and dancing until the early hours.
