DCB are calling for businesses in and around Greater Manchester to sign up for their new initiative, recycling Christmas waste and raising money for Forever Manchester.

With Brits buying more cards per person than any other nation and an astonishing 1 billion Christmas cards sold in the UK each year it is quite alarming to think how many cards will be thrown away each year, without being recycled.

Although it is estimated that £50 million is raised for good causes through the sales of charity Christmas cards each year, DCB want to make it easier for businesses in Greater Manchester to recycle their festive cards and wrapping paper whilst doing it for a cause.

The conglomerate group will be accepting Christmas cards in late December and January in order to recycle the card and bring the material back into production by March.

DCB will be offering a postal/drop off address to make it efficient as possible for businesses. The initiative will offer not only a recycling service but make a positive impact on the local community, as DCB will be donating £50 for every tonne of waste they receive to Forever Manchester.

Send Christmas cards and paper waste to Recycling, DCB Group, Westinghouse Rd, Trafford Park, Manchester M17 1PJ.
