Forever Manchester supporter, Cuckoo Design based in Salford Quays decided that, even though they are working from home, they wanted to get active and demonstrate their continuing commitment to Forever Manchester.
The Cuckoo team got their running shoes on and ran 150km from 11th May until 22nd May, raising £760 for Forever Manchester and having fun along the way.
Justine Wright, MD of Cuckoo Design says: “Cuckoo chose to support Forever Manchester because of the work they do supporting communities that may not have the size or kudos of larger charities. The people that volunteer, help those in need, do the simple things in life for others that we all take for granted.
“The idea came from one of our designers, Jordan who is currently on Furlough, so the fact he was thinking of others made it even more appealing to us. We set a target to run and a target to raise and I am proud to say we smashed both – a great team effort, a great team building exercise and hopefully the money raised will bring some joy to people.”
