Forever Manchester’s very own Claire Lawless is taking on a comedy challenge to raise money for community activities across Greater Manchester and recording her adventure in a new 3-part podcast series.
Both Claire and Forever Manchester colleague, Rosie Strickleton, had previously taken part in Red Star Boxing’s ‘BEE PHENOMENAL’ white collar boxing event at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and documented their adventures in a popular podcast.
They were keen to take on another challenge, having raised over £1000 between them on the Boxing Night, and have become accustomed to raising money through unorthodox methods. The girls were then surprised to find out that the next challenge involved stand-up comedy.
This new podcast series (Let’s all Laugh with Claire) covers Claire attending a comedy workshop, courtesy of The Frog and Bucket in preparation for a public slot at our Forever Funny Comedy night at The Frog and Bucket on Wednesday 9th May and will be sharing the stage with Chris Washington, Stephen Bailey and Allyson June Smith.
