Dust off your tents, get out some den building stuff and get ready for a holiday at home, while raising money for Forever Manchester to help fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.

We’re inviting everyone to take part in a sponsored ‘Camp Out’ at home, in the garden, on a balcony or even pitch a tent in the lounge in-between Friday 28th May – Sunday 13th June 2021.

We think it’s the perfect opportunity to get ready for the coming summer while staying safe, having fun, and raising money for community projects across the region who’ve been working so hard during the pandemic.

Over the last year we’ve funded over 600 groups to deliver emergency support in all communities across the region.  From food parcels and food banks to mental health support and helping people fleeing from domestic violence, community groups have been doing some amazing and vital work.

On top of this we have seen a raft of groups such as the Scouts, Guides, Boys Brigade, and various Cadets as well as other youth groups continue to support young people and offer a social lifeline at a particularly difficult time.

What better way to honour and support this great work and ensure funding for the future than to get involved in the outdoors. As things begin to open up, we need to ensure that funding exists for these groups to offer young people unique and life-changing opportunities.

Over the past few years Forever Manchester has funded 120 uniformed youth groups across Greater Manchester as well as hundreds of other youth groups.

So if you’re part of a Scouts, Guides or other uniformed community group like the Boys Brigade we’re especially inviting you and your group to take part to raise money so we can continue to provide much needed support in the future.

We also think it’s a great opportunity for your group (particularly Scouts and Guides) to work towards some of their badges and awards for fundraising and charity work.

Taking part couldn’t be easier. Just let us know by registering here.
