Manchester royalty were out in force on Friday 6th March at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel for the Mirror Ball organised by celebrity hairdresser, Andrew Trott-Barn to raise money for Forever Manchester.

Now in its seventh year, the copper–themed bash played host to some very sharp suits, dazzling dresses and a constellation of celebrities and raised an amazing £53,000 for Forever Manchester to support grass root community projects across Greater Manchester.

Coronation Street stars, Katie McGlynn, Bruno Langley, Tisha Merry and Faye Brookes, who performed a stunning stage duet with her boyfriend and Pop Idol Gareth Gates, were joined by Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Stacey Forsey and Ampika Pickston, model Charlotte Dawson, singer Michelle McKenna and No Offence star Will Mellor who brought the house down and got the guests dancing to classics including Mustang Sally and Superstitious at the climax of the night.

The event was hosted by Capital Radio’s Breakfast duo Rob Ellis and Rachel Burke-Davis and also included a performance of Manc classics by sultry chanteuse Lucy Hope.

Forever Manchester Chief Executive, Nick Massey, was delighted with the event when he said “Andrew is a 21st century philanthropist, he uses all his skills, talents and assets to make sure this event is a huge success. Andrew has now raised over £300,000 for Forever Manchester, which is an astonishing achievement”.
