Not ready for Christmas shopping just yet? Get along to A Slice of Nice this Sunday 27th November at Bar 21 NQ, where they will be presenting great live music from 3pm-6:30pm.

“A Slice Of Nice” is a free acoustic afternoon held in the heart of the Northern Quarter on the last weekend of each month, featuring some of Manchester‘s and Europe’s freshest musicians and musical talent, as well as more established acts. Whether you’re looking to warm your musical cockles or you just want to kick back, relax and get your slice of the musical cake, there isn’t a finer way to start your Sunday evening.

Each month consists of top-end acoustic acts who have musical talent to burn… all for you to enjoy for free! But here’s the best bit – they are raising money for Forever Manchester with cake and a raffle. The raffle’s top prize this month is the opportunity to be a Radio DJ for the day.

This month’s artists are:

Matt Fryers

Performing and recording his own original work alongside a selection of covers, Matt offers listeners something unexpected from the acoustic genre. In fact he could make you doubt you’re listening to an acoustic artist at all! His strong, gritty vocals coupled with intricate, dynamic melodies and heartfelt lyrics are simply mind blowing.
