Training has started for Forever Manchester’s Bee Phenomenal White Collar Boxing Event which will be held at Victoria Warehouse on Saturday 11th November 2017.

Organised by Forever Manchester supporters Red Star Boxing and Victoria Warehouse, the event will see over 20 fighters matched up and giving it their all to raise money to support Forever Manchester. It promises to be an exciting and rewarding night for all.

In the meantime competitors are involved in a gruelling eight-week boot camp with local boxing gym Northside Boxing. We’re proud to see that a number of Forever Manchester staff and ambassadors have strapped on their gloves and taken up the challenge. Connecting Communities Co-Ordinator, James Hampson, said: “It’s a massive challenge and well out of my comfort zone but the camaraderie in camp is mint and it’s top to be supporting the charity I love.”

Redstar Boxing’s Darren Lamb said: “We’ve done a few of these events and they’re always a huge success. As a Manchester-based promotions company we’re thrilled to be supporting a local charity that makes such a huge difference to local people.”

Forever Manchester’s James Hampson met and chatted to some of the ‘Bee Phenomenal’ white collar boxing participants including Steve Kuncewicz, Ric Brooks, Michelle Plevin and coach Dave Murray. Listen to the interviews below.

Any event for Forever Manchester wouldn’t be complete without a good old party and this is no exception. After the boxing and black tie dinner, competitors and spectators can dance the night away at an exclusive after party headlined by some pretty exciting DJs that will be announced soon.

If you would like to sponsor any of the boxers, the team’s Just Giving page is here.

Tickets for the night can be purchased here.
