We had an amazing response to our Summer Funding Programme Survey and got some really useful insights into how we can improve and update our funding programmes and processes to better suit our applicants – as well as understanding what already works well. So a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to take part! The prize draw winners have been notified and have received their prizes. Over the coming months we’ll be reviewing the results of the survey with our staff and board team, as well as our fund donors, and will keep you updated as to any changes we make as a result. In the interim here’s a couple of snapshots from the survey and how we’re going to use that information!
What you told us Over half of respondents, at 51.4%, told us that they would like to be able to download the fund guidance from the website, which isn’t something that we offer at the moment. What we’re going to do From December, when a fund opens, we will include a downloadable version of the guidance on the website. We will do this for all fund guidance in the future.
What you told us Most respondents think it’s clear which funds are most suitable for their organisation to apply for, with 92.5% telling us that they found it fairly clear or very clear which funds were most suitable for them. What we’re going to do This tells us that whilst we can always strive to make improvements to the funding information on the website, we don’t need to change too much right now.
What you told us A majority of respondents (71.9%) told us that they prefer to submit an online application, which is what we offer currently. However, 20.5% told us that they would like to be able to download an application form and return the completed version by email. What we’re going to do We don’t know if downloadable application forms are something that we can integrate with our systems, however this is something that we are going to look into.
