We are delighted to be the beneficiary charity of the breathtaking Christmas Musical Spectacular which is arriving at the iconic AO Arena this December. This festive season, a breathtaking Christmas Musical Spectacular will take over Manchester’s AO Arena, bringing world-class performers to the stage with a larger-than-life, moving and uplifting show designed to bring loved ones together and create lasting holiday memories. Leading the stellar lineup is Michael Ball OBE, a two-time Olivier Award winner and one of the most celebrated voices in British musical theatre. Ball will be joined by Loren Allred, the voice behind Never Enough from The Greatest Showman, and fellow The Greatest Showman star and Tony Award nominee Keala Settle. Alongside them is a world-class cast of performers including: Ben Forster, renowned for his commanding vocals and powerful portrayal of the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera; Kerry Ellis, one of the most celebrated leading ladies of the West End and Broadway; Alice Fearn, a performer of exceptional range and emotional intelligence, widely recognised for her leading roles and ability to connect deeply with audiences; Hugh Maynard, whose magnetic stage presence and rich vocal tone have made him a standout across major productions; and Kelly Mathieson, whose elegance, control and versatility add further texture and balance to the production, ensuring every musical moment is delivered with clarity and finesse. The cast will be supported by emerging and established talent, including local performers of Cardwell Theatre School and Manchester Camerata and Manchester Vocal Ensemble who will help create a rich, immersive sound that fills the arena with energy, atmosphere and emotion. Hosted by Aled Jones, this two-night spectacular reinforces Manchester’s place as a leading Christmas destination. With its world-famous Christmas markets drawing visitors from across the UK and beyond throughout December, the city already stands as a hub for seasonal celebration. Taking place for two nights only on 22nd and 23rd December, this heartwarming event is designed to be enjoyed by audiences of all ages, making it the perfect festive experience for families, friends and musical-lovers alike.
