John Alexander was born bred and schooled in Manchester, born at what was Park Hospital, Davyhulme, same hospital as Morrissey!
John has always worked in financial services, previously in banking before moving into investment business development.
When asked about how he’d like to get involved with Forever Manchester, he replied; “Working in financial services where we often speak in thousands and millions and billions, we like Forever Manchester for its work at a grassroots level. Interested in helping forge relationships with large employers and schools at the heart of their communities.”
He also spoke passionately about his love of Manchester: “Manchester has always been home but love to see how the City is changing and developing. Fond memories of A1 Music on Oxford Road where I spent many a Saturday morning as a school kid hoping the keyboards were switched on in the shop so I could try and play Blue Monday with my mates.”
