We’re delighted to announce the promotion and appointment of three new members to its leadership team. These new roles reflect the charity’s commitment to increasing capacity to further its support for local communities across the region. The new appointments are as follows: Rachel Hirst – Deputy Chief Executive Following a successful tenure as Director of Communities, Rachel Hirst has been promoted to Deputy Chief Executive. With over 20 years of experience in the voluntary sector, Rachel has been a driving force behind Forever Manchester’s community-focused initiatives. In her new role, Rachel will continue to lead and shape the charity’s strategic direction, whilst working alongside chief executive Nick Massey.
Taylor Bevens joins Forever Manchester as a Content Creator through an apprenticeship with The Juice Academy. Taylor will play an integral role in amplifying the charity’s digital presence, creating compelling content that highlights the inspiring work of local grassroots groups and engages the wider community. Through this apprenticeship, Taylor will develop key skills in digital marketing and communications while contributing to Forever Manchester’s growing online impact. His apprenticeship with the Juice Academy means he will spend one day a week there for ongoing training and skills. Jennifer Lockham joins us at Forever Manchester as an Events and Philanthropy Development Officer. With a strong background in events, fundraising, and donor relations, Jen will assist in setting up and running our events programme, alongside building relationships with business supports, and helping to secure the vital funding that enables Forever Manchester to continue supporting grassroots community projects throughout Greater Manchester.
