The Great Manchester Run

Lace up, Manchester! The Great Manchester Run 10k is back on Sunday 31st May 2026, and we want you running with us. Whether it’s your first 10k or you’re a seasoned pro, this is your chance to join the city’s biggest running party and raise money for community activity across Greater Manchester!

Every penny you raise helps fund local legends and grassroots projects in every corner of our city region. From Salford to Stockport, Oldham to Altrincham, your support keeps Greater Manchester thriving. Since we first got involved, our runners have raised over £130,000 – that’s hundreds of community groups supported, and thousands of lives made a little bit better.

Discounted places for £40

We are encouraging businesses to sign up to run for Forever Manchester, with a minimum suggested fundraising target of £150 per person. If you are a business supporter wishing to register your team, you can email us at rsvp@forevermanchester.com or purchase your tickets via Skiddle.

Next Steps

Once you have signed up to run for Forever Manchester, we will send you details on how to register your details on the Great Run website, so that they can send you your race pack and allocate the appropriate ‘wave’ for you to run in.

After that, you will receive an email from the ‘Event Online Support Team’ at Great Run – sent from mailsend@greatactivity.org Contained in the email will be link to ‘click here to register’. Simply follow the steps, and once you have registered you will receive an email from the ‘Event Online Support Team’ to confirm your place in the run.
