Forever Manchester has always believed that connected communities make stronger, happier communities and we love any activity that brings people together. That’s why, every Christmas for the last few years, we’ve awarded funds so that people can host events in their communities. This year, we committed to 125 awards of £125, but with a huge influx of over 350 fantastic applications, we were able to increase the number of awards given to 175. This meant that we were able to support more people to bring a festive spirit to their communities across Greater Manchester. We’re running a photo competition for the groups who have been awarded funding. As long as they enter before the 19th of December, they could be in with a chance of winning an extra £100 for their group!
