Jenn has lived in Greater Manchester all her life, she grew up in Bolton and went to University of Salford twice and loved the Manchester student life!

Jenn told us: “I love Manchester having made a life, partied hard and brought my family up here. I now work in the Greater Manchester area for a local retailer so am lucky to spend my varied days with some great people.”

She qualified as HR Director for MID Communications looking after people’s wellbeing and development as well as looking after Finance and the stores performance. She had also worked nationally for Hobbycraft and americangolf in similar roles, but wanted to return to Manchester in 2015.

Jenn added: “I’m a trustee of a Multi Academy Trust ‘Altus Education Partnership’ in Rochdale and a supporter of other North West based charities, I understand the importance of local business leaders in supporting their local communities.”

Jenn works for MID Communications who are Photobooth Sponsors at our 2019 Birthday Party, she also wants to bring Forever Manchester into her role in Rochdale and raising awareness of the charity to students and teachers.

“I will also use my business to complete daft challenges to raise money for charity! Forever will be one of our official charities of 2019.”

Jenn is a passionate Greater Mancunian: “I travel into the city centre periodically for work and also work in the local communities around Manchester daily, and people still smile and hold doors open and are generally really friendly. I also work in other parts of the UK and you just don’t see the same approach. Manchester is special; you have to be here to truly understand the power of community and a friendly face. I also like the music, and history!
