Heena is born and bred in Blackburn, Lancashire and (except for a 3-year stint in Lancaster where she studied Law as an undergraduate) has lived there her whole life.

After graduating in 2013 she then embarked upon the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Manchester, alongside her full-time role as a Paralegal. Since 2014, she has worked in Manchester city centre and after years of hard work qualified as a Solicitor in January 2018.

She currently works in a full-service commercial law firm and act for a range of clients in relation to both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

For the past two years, she has been the Charities Director for Manchester Trainee Solicitors’ Group and has raised thousands of pounds through fundraising activities such as the National 3 Peaks Challenge, the Manchester 10k and Charity Raffles.

Heena told us: “I have thoroughly enjoyed this role and would love to continue with my efforts to raise as much money as possible for a very worthy charity!”

She then added: “I’m also keen to promote Forever Manchester through social media and reach out to as many people as possible.”

When asked about why she loves Manchester, Heena replied: “Manchester’s array of restaurants keeps me busy on the weekends! It’s a great city to meet up with friends or family, and the people are one of a kind.”
