Chris grew up in Oldham and has spent all of his life around Greater Manchester.

He speaks passionately about his upbringing and his love of Manchester. He is now Managing Director of digital agency BW Marketing, and the story of how he got involved with Manchester’s business community is an interesting one.

“It was during my final year, and the time since, that I realised how incredible the community is in Manchester. It almost goes unnoticed how close you feel to everyone, but time and time again I bump into people who go out of their way to help, expecting nothing in return. That’s why I want to be a part of Forever Manchester. I’ve witnessed first-hand the effect that charity has across the region, and if I can be a small part of helping the team do more of the great work they’re already doing, then I’ll be happy.

“I’m just over a year into starting my own digital marketing business (based in the best co-working spot in town – Beehive Lofts!) and I genuinely wouldn’t have got here without the guidance of my Mancunian family (shout out to Nick Wraith, Liz Page, and Rachel Moran), who mainly reassured me that I wasn’t as hopeless as I thought I was. I thought it was about time I gave a little back.”
