We’re looking for willing volunteers to help us to collect at the Manchester City v West Bromwich Albion match at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 9th April (5.30pm kick off).

We’ve already had Corporate Partners kindly offer their services to help us on the day, but to ensure we get the best out of it and raise as much money as possible for us to support community activity across Greater Manchester we’re looking for 20 more Forever Manchester supporters to help us out.

Kick off is 5.30pm, so we are asking for help between 3pm-6pm at the Etihad Stadium. Each volunteer will be supplied with a limited edition Forever Manchester t-shirt, kindly donated by Clothes2Order, which will adopt Manchester City’s famous sky blue for the day instead of our usual black and red to support the home team. These t-shirts will be exclusive to our volunteers on 9th April (queue 80’s gameshow style ooooh).

We request that you’re over 16 if you’re collecting for us and you are welcome to volunteer in pairs and do it together. We will be strategically placing volunteers at the turnstiles and other busy places around the Etihad Stadium to collect from generous fans in the hope of raising a great amount of money for us to reinvest in communities across Greater Manchester.

All the money you help us to raise on the day will stay within the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester to support community activity.

If you’d like to volunteer on Saturday 9th April then please email our Events and Volunteers Officer, Cheryl Hill on cheryl@forevermanchester.com and she’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

The Etihad Stadium has great transport links, with its own Metrolink stop and it also being on major bus routes out of the City Centre, with the stadium being situated on Ashton New Road.
