Forever Manchester is delighted to announce pro-manchester’s Head of Development, Sam Booth has joined Forever Manchester’s Board of Trustees.

Sam’s inclusion means that women represent 50% of the Board at Forever Manchester, which we are proud to embrace as a significant acknowledgement of the role women play in the success of the region of Greater Manchester.

Sam joins the Board after the recent appointment of Brother UK’s Louise Marshall and the Homes and Communities Agency’s Mick Warner were announced in February this year, making it a really exciting time for Forever Manchester.

Sam has been an Ambassador at Forever Manchester for over 3 years and has already raised thousands of pounds for us, utilising her contacts and influence at pro-manchester, as well as taking part in various fund raising activities. In 2014 Sam spent Halloween locked in a spooky disused bank vault on King Street with various Manchester celebrities and a psychic medium to raise funds, being one of the first to be freed because of how much she’d raised.

Sam said: “Without doubt Manchester for me is all about the people, I’m extremely passionate about the community and believe it’s important for businesses to give back to those who are in need. I’m delighted to be a part of the Forever Manchester family and aim to raise awareness about the good work they do and how we can make a difference to the local area.”

Nick Massey, Chief Exec commented: “We’re delighted that Sam is joining the team, I’m sure she’ll be a great addition to the Board, her passion and enthusiasm is genuinely inspiring and her long term support of Forever Manchester has been outstanding.”
