Staff at Oscar’s Manchester City Centre office have raised over £1,000 this year for Forever Manchester by taking part in a number of fundraising activities.
Oscar, an international recruitment specialist with offices in Singapore, Houston USA and Manchester, are supporting Forever Manchester as they want to make a positive impact on the communities where many of their staff and their families live and work.
Associate Director Sam Mikkelsen said: “We chose to support Forever Manchester as we believe that as a responsible employer we should direct our Corporate Social Responsibility activity towards local communities where we can see the impact our activity makes and get involved in helping our local communities.”
In February 2016, they took part in the Forever Manchester 7-a-side football tournament, and during Forever Manchester Week they raised money by doing a virtual bike ride along with a pie bake off in their offices. They also collected clothes and toiletries to donate to a local homeless centre.
