Captain Manchester, Manchester’s superhero famed for his strapline “It’s nice to be nice’ has been shortlisted in four categories in the Golden Hedgehog Awards 2014.
The awards are run by online PR magazine ThePRmoment.com to celebrate excellence and recognise and reward outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent in the PR and communications industry.
The Captain Manchester campaign, developed for charity Forever Manchester by Tunafish Media, has been shortlisted in categories for Social Media Campaign of the Year, Not for Profit Campaign of the Year, Low Budget Campaign of the Year and Stunt of the Year.
Forever Manchester Chief Executive Nick Massey comments, “Tunafish Media were briefed to come up with a campaign that illustrated the charity’s ethos and work, raised our profile amongst new audiences and helped us to raise money. Captain Manchester surpassed all our expectations and has provided us with a platform that has longevity for use across different sectors of our communities over coming years.”
