2016’s Manchester Legal Awards supported Forever Manchester as the first event since President Michael Hardacre chose us as the President’s Charity of the Year.
The evening’s raffle was raising money for Forever Manchester and raised an incredible £4,457 with more to come over the next week. Every penny raised will help us to support more individuals across Greater Manchester doing extraordinary things every day.
Chief Exec, Nick Massey and Head of Business Development, Jean Mills attended the evening to represent Forever Manchester, and were happy to see Corporate Partners Slater and Gordon pick up the Team of the Year – Private Client award as well as Squire Patton Boggs’ colleague Rob Elvin, who won Partner of the Year and JMW Solicitors, whose Trainee, Chloe Themistocleous won Trainee of the Year.
Forever Manchester is proud to have been chosen as the Manchester Law Society President’s Charity of the Year for this year and is over the moon that the solicitors in the room at the awards were generous enough to raise nearly £4,500 for us to reinvest into communities across Greater Manchester.
Nick Massey, CEO said: “Forever Manchester has a long tradition of working with law firms across Greater Manchester. We provide a unique way of matching the generosity of individuals and businesses with local grassroots community groups and activity so we’re often a natural partner for firms who’s employees live locally. We’re delighted to have been chosen as the Manchester Law Society President’s Charity of the Year and are looking forward to working together throughout 2016.”
