Jack Gleadow is one of the most unique performers on the UK comedy circuit today and winner of the 2018 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year award.
He takes inspiration from the golden era of variety and is literally a one-man variety show featuring a clever use of sounds, stories, jokes and even the occasional ‘Scooter’ in what is a quirky blend of audience participation and wordplay alongside physical comedy.
Bethany Black has been a professional on the stand-up comedian circuit since 2004 during which time she has performed alongside some of the biggest names including Allan Carr, Sarah Millican, Tim Minchin and Rhys Darby.
In 2015 Bethany was cast as Helen in Russell T Davies multi-channel shows CUCUMBER, BANANA and TOFU where she was the first trans actress in a leading role. Bethany’s journey to Channel Four television alongside being cast in BBC Television’s ‘Doctor Who’ will ensure her steadily rising star status makes for hilarious if sometimes incredulous listening.
