Following the receipt of the very impressive ‘Community Report 2012’ produced by FC United’s Community Team, Forever Manchester has taken a keen interest in the club’s work in the Community.
At the heart of the club’s community work is inclusion – a value shared by Forever Manchester. The club strives to “include people of all ages and backgrounds in their community programmes, offering them a chance to learn, train, develop new skills and interest and grasp new opportunities that they might otherwise have.”
On 27th April, FC United hosted their annual Youth United Day, attracting over 1,000 young people to take part in pre-match activities, a ‘young achievers’ parade around the pitch and the opportunity to watch the match free of charge. Forever Manchester helped to promote the day to over 200 young people’s groups across the region.
Forever Manchester kindly took up the invitation to sponsor the match programme for the eagerly awaited Play-Off Semi-Final on 7th May which saw FC United victorious in front of a crowd of 2,492.
Forever Manchester would like to wish FC United all the very best of luck in their Play-Off Final against Hednesford on 11th May.
